LocHal

The LocHal is the new kid on the block and already very popular by people living in Tilburg. This former locomotive hall has been converted into a library. It’s only a few minutes walking distance from the Central Station. Besides the library there’s enough room here to work quietly. Furthermore, the LocHal offers special silent spaces where you can work quietly with two people. Moreover, it’s also possible to hire a conference room at Seats2Meet. Are you getting hungry from all the work? LocHal has a café where they serve delicious sandwiches.

Bonus points: Separate silent spaces, a good place for meetings and close to the Central Station.

Bank15 is a place where creative people come together. You can meet other entrepreneurs/freelancers here, but it’s also a place to work by yourself. Bank15 offers spacious tables, which makes it possible to have a brainstorm or meeting here. Moreover, they also have the opportunity to hire an office for business meetings. Are you getting hungry from all the hard work? There’s enough choice of good food at Bank15. Like yummy vegan meals from De Groene Chef or delicious snacks at Macia’s Taste of Peru.

Stoom013

Stoom 013 is an old school steam locomotive which is converted into a coffee place, very cool! It’s a sociable place where you can do your work while drinking good coffee. The atmosphere here is very cosy and homey. Stoom 013 offers enough outlets to work on your laptop. Furthermore, it’s a place for people who appreciate very good coffee. They don’t serve food here, but you’re able to bring your own lunchbox. In this way you can have a very cheap outside workspace!

Coffee Fellows

At Pieter Vreedeplein you can find Coffee Fellows; a cosy place where you can work while drinking good coffee. Coffee Fellows is a perfect place to work quietly by yourself, but it’s also a good spot for (business) meetings. They offer big tables, which makes it easy to have a brainstorm session here. Furthermore, at the first floor it’s possible to work quietly without any distractions. Besides all of that: while working here you can eat some of the best bagels of Tilburg!

Qlubhouse is a bit more luxurious, which makes it the place to be for business meetings. You can network with other entrepreneurs/freelancers here or hire a workspace for a meeting. Furthermore, Qlubhouse offers a lot of flexible workspaces with outlets, so you can easily work from your laptop here. Their quote is ‘Meet people, do business’ and that’s what it totally is. Also good to know for the early birds: Qlubhouse opens from 8 AM in the morning.

Raw definitely needed to be on my list, because it’s the perfect place to work quietly. This restaurant is located in an old industrial building, five minutes walking distance from Central Station. It’s very spacious at Raw, so there’s always a free spot to work. Also, it’s a good place to have a meeting without getting interrupted. They have a delicious menu, so you will not get hungry while working here.

Velerlei

Have you ever heard of Velerlei already? Velerlei is located in the centre of Tilburg and has many shop-in-shops from small entrepreneurs. It’s a place where you can work quietly by yourself. Open your laptop at couscous bar Olives & Spices, while you enjoy a delicious couscous salad. Velerlei is also a workspace to network with others. They have many outlets and at the first floor it’s possible to organise meetings. Velerlei also offers wheeled chairs, to have a very comfortable business day.

Therefore, it’s the perfect place for starting entrepreneurs!

Do you love to work outside during the summer? Nwe Faxx also has an outside terrace to use as workspace.
