“Familie Kruik” is a Tilburg film project without a budget that is entirely supported by Tilburg volunteers from different backgrounds. The series is recorded around the most typical Tilburg event: the Tilburg fair.
Every year the series will be broadcast during the Tilburg Kermis with a total of 5 episodes. The theme and film style may vary from year to year. However, the story continues to revolve around the Family Kruik, a typical Tilburg working-class family who, like every Tilburger, likes to go to the Tilburg Fair. Every year well-known Tilburgers will also be involved in the series. Ferry van de Zaande and de Braboneger took part in the 2013 season, for example.
